About The Feather Art

The feathers are ethically sourced by the family. Rebecca and her children head out bush and collect the feathers they find that have naturally dropped from the birds, usually the Carnaby's Black Cockatoo as these are local to the area where Rebecca and her family live.

NO BIRDS ARE HARMED IN THE PROCESS!!!

Commisioned feather sets are totally dependant on whether or not Rebecca can find feathers. They are hard to get and usually only found during the warmer months.

About Diversity Aboriginal Art

I am a proud Wiradjuri woman and sharing my Aboriginal heritage through my art is important. I hope to share how beautiful our culture is with the world through a paint brush and canvas.

I've always loved Australian native wildlife, especially our birds. I have developed a realistic style fused with traditional Wiradjuri symbols and the gorgeous bright colours that are synonemous with Aboriginal art that represent the colours of our land in hopes to bring a fresh, new and modern take on a proud history of Australian Aboriginal Art.

Art is a way I get to share my history and culture with the world. I have the ability to grow with each painting and that journey is one I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
